SEX AND SPIRITUALITY

Both sex and spirituality touch the deepest parts of our being, but many religious institutions put a heavy stigma on sex, teach that sex, let alone gay sex, is sin, and through guilt and shame force us to separate our sexuality from our spirituality. Is it possible to celebrate both our sexual and spiritual selves? Can we integrate our sexual and spiritual lives? Can coming out be a spiritual experience? What role does the concept of religion and spirituality play in our community and individual lives?
